Back home from Memphis and two weeks recording new lp/cd/download/album/7"(whatever you prefer)
in Halifax...all went better than well. New recording is due to be released fall 2010.
Why does it take so long? We just make the music, not the rules of show biz'......

We're heading to Memphis Tennessee next week; home of Elvis, Sun Records,
Stax, and a whole lot of fried food...we'll be playing showcases at the North American Folk Alliance for a week and from there, straight to Halifax to begin work on our next release...stay tuned.
December 16 /2009We'll being playing a couple of special gigs around the island this holiday season and then we'll start demoing songs for our new record in the new year...happy holidays from Nudie and the Turks.
October 24/2009We just returned home from our showcases in Ottawa (Ontario Council of Folk Festivals) and Nashville (The Billy Block Show) It was good to see old friends and make new ones.
In addition to the showcases, Nudie sat in with a couple of bands in Nashville, one of which contained steel guitar great Doug Jernigan and Buck Owens original drummer Willie Cantu. We also gave an impromptu performance for the patrons of the River Rat in upstate New York!.
We've got all the songs ready for our next album, we just have to figure out where we are going to record it and how................... (all interested patrons use the contact button on the top of this page and we'll let you know where to send the cheque).
